MORE IS MORE POSTER DESIGN

Two 24x36 posters promoting “More is More,” an exhibit on maximalism in art and design in Basel, Switzerland. I presented two concepts. The first stemmed from a series of paint-based experiments using color and tactility to express a maximalist theme. In my second concept, I wanted to convey the idea of “More is More” without being visually overwhelming or relying on the color and textural cues I used in the first poster. The result is two very different posters that capture the essence of the same exhibit in different ways.

Created within a poster design workshop with Leander Eisenmann at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
